DIY How To

If you prefer to personalize your invitations — we’ll help you do it yourself and make sure your special event is as perfect as possible.

We’ll send you blank invites and you can print the event details using a desktop printer. We recommend an inkjet printer because laser printers can damage the paper due to the heat involved in the ink transfer process.

Our design team is here to help if you have any questions along the way.

All you have to do is fill out the contact information form and we’ll send you:

formatted template

A Microsoft Word formatted template for your invitation design. The document will have sample event information, type styles and colors. All you have to do is replace this info with your wording and pick and choose your own fonts and colors.

print instructions

We will also send you step-by-step print instructions to make sure your printer is set up accurately to print to 5″x7″ size paper.

Again, our team is here to help if you have any questions.

print test sheets

We highly recommend making sure everything is formatted correctly before printing on an actual invitation. So, along with your invitations, we’ll send you 3 print test sheets. This way you can check to see if the event information is printing within the document margins and not overprinting the design.

From there, you are good to — do it yourself!

NOTE: return address envelope printing, shaped corners, specialty papers, and design embellishment is available upon request.
